Lighting is the one part of a yard that exists only after dark, so a landscape lighting installation in Austin, TX, gets judged on what you see and on what you deliberately do not.

A good layout lays a low wash across the ground plane, sends a narrow beam up into a canopy, and leaves whole stretches in shadow on purpose. Glare is the giveaway. If you notice the fixture before you notice the tree, the aiming is wrong.

Switching landscape companies is one of the most common frustrations homeowners in Austin deal with. The crew starts strong. The yard looks great for a few weeks. Then the quality dips. Communication slows. And by the end of the season, you are searching for someone new.

The problem is rarely the crew. It is the system behind the crew. A landscape service without structure and accountability will always trend toward inconsistency. The question is not whether it happens. It is how quickly.
